Maitri Help is a mobile app designed to support users through difficult times. It helps people build and activate personal support circles — trusted groups of family and friends who can be mobilized when it matters most.

The app is designed to give users a sense of control when everything feels out of control. Not by solving problems for them, but by connecting them with the people who can.

An MVP that had to feel complete.

The brief was to ship an MVP that felt complete — not bare-bones.

Maitri Help needed to deliver real value from the first session. Users in difficult situations don’t have patience for a half-built product, and trust is fragile. We had to make every core interaction — adding people to circles, requesting help, assigning tasks — feel effortless and human, not clinical.

The secondary challenge: the client provided carefully designed UI screens. Our job was to bring them to life faithfully, while also making engineering decisions that wouldn’t box the product in as it grew.

Discovery Workshop

We started with a focused workshop with key stakeholders. The goal: understand the emotional context of the users — not just their functional needs. What does someone actually need when they're struggling? What friction would make them give up?

Roadmap & Architecture

From the workshop insights, we built a clear product roadmap and a scalable technical architecture. The system was designed so that new features — new types of circles, location services, notifications — could be added without rebuilding the foundation.

App Development

Built in React Native with a Node.js backend. Cross-platform from day one — iOS and Android from a single codebase. Every screen was implemented to spec from the client's UI designs, with our team making the micro-decisions that turn good designs into great experiences.

Launch

The app shipped to both the App Store and Google Play. The launch was smooth — and users started benefiting from the core features immediately.
