A complex software ecosystem developed for Seiko Hungary – the Japanese watch brand – to support their growth in Europe. These developments include an online shop, which is connected to an application and a CRM system. Seiko Club aims to strengthen the bond between the user and the brand for superior customer care, and add value to the purchased products.

challenge

As Seiko is an established brand with well functioning customer services, we had to design an ecosystem that is built on their existing processes and data, but at the same time elevates their services to another level. As we believe in the effectiveness of design and discovery before actual implementation, we conducted thorough research prior to the development process.

Solution

Process

Designing the digital platforms for a global brand with a strong tradition. For this purpose, we followed a distinctly clean and minimalist style in the design. It was a challenge to create usable and exciting interfaces that could be extended to other countries as part of a global image.

Existing data from many sources: For the precise synchronization of all kinds of data from various sources, we designed a complex middleware that enables the communication between the various applications.

Result

The ecosystem was designed with the purpose to strengthen the Seiko lifestyle and feeling. We made sure that the overall system allows for various Seiko customer support units to interact and act at different points within the ecosystem, where needed.

Seiko Club App

The app allows registered club members to access exclusive content, track the service history of their products, learn about events, participate in sweepstakes, and measure and monitor the accuracy of their watch with a special feature. Users can also browse among all watches, or find specific stores.

Online Shop

CRM

With the integration of Bitrix24’s CRM, we have built a complete ecosystem, where all information about users, their purchases and registered watches is managed in one place. It enables a smooth process throughout the mobile app and the website as well.
