the Project
Fundmypitch.com is a platform designed to connect investors with investment-ready companies seeking funding to kickstart their ventures. The platform provides a secure and transparent environment for entrepreneurs and investors to interact and connect, enabling entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to a global audience and allowing investors to discover investment opportunities that align with their interests.
The
challenge
One of the primary challenges we faced while implementing the Fundmypitch platform was the need to scope out the entire project and map out its exact functionality and operation. In addition to providing the initial UX/UI designs, the client collaborated with us during this initial scoping and discovery period, as they had a clear idea on how the platform’ should operate. While we had to follow these plans, we also had to remain flexible enough to implement changes that could improve the platform’s performance. Additionally, we had to deal with the limitations of 3rd party integrations and find ways to customize them to fit the platform’s needs. Another challenge was to prepare the website’s CMS, so any user-made changes were adapted to the design plans without disrupting the layout of the site.
The
Solution
To overcome these challenges, we created a line of communication and a working method that enabled us to implement changes whenever necessary to achieve the project’s goals. As it was a large-scale project, we knew that the technical specification we created at the beginning would only serve as a guideline. Therefore, we remained flexible and open to change as we progressed through the project, and organized meetings and reports accordingly.

Result
The Fundmypitch platform was successfully launched at the Web Summit event, and it has since come to life as a buzzing platform. It offers a global opportunity with multiple languages and currencies, and it validates all investments made through the platform. The chat function enables entrepreneurs and investors to engage and learn more about each other’s needs and preferences, while the list of filtering options for investors allows them to list the pitches that interest them. Our team has designed the platform to be scalable, ensuring that it can adapt and grow as the needs of the client and users change over time, so upgrades and new features are expected to arrive soon.
